Product Scope

ViewOps is an on-premises AI interface that connects internal operational data to large language models, enabling structured, role-aware querying with full control over accuracy and permissions.

Built on PostgreSQL — used both as the structured data store and vector database via pgvector we deliver enterprise-grade search and retrieval.

The system combines natural language input with a retrieval-based layer powered by tagging, memory, and feedback loops.

Ingested data flows through two core routes:

• Structured models (MVP) for high-value, repeatable use cases (such as product settings, production outcomes, and financial data), where accuracy is essential and answers are drawn from validated tables using predefined prompts and deterministic logic.
• A flexible tagging and vector layer for broader, less-structured queries — enabling intelligent search across documents, comments, and historical records, where providing the right context matters more than strict precision.

Both layers improve over time through feedback loops and human-in-the-loop review — increasing accuracy, trust, and relevance with every interaction.
