What We’re Looking For

We’re hiring a founding engineer to help us build the first version of ViewOps. You’ll need to be:

• Delivery-focused, with a strong instinct for what’s shippable
• Able to think architecturally but still hands-on with implementation
• Curious and proactive, you’ll notice edge cases before they cause issues
• Comfortable making trade-offs to move fast while keeping quality high
• Minimum 5 years’ experience building real, production-grade systems

You’ve likely:

• Delivered Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems in production
• Built prompt pipelines or custom prompt tooling (not just API calls)
• Designed and deployed vector search, embeddings, and metadata tagging
• Created admin tools for schema, tagging, or data mapping
• Debugged and improved pipeline accuracy over time with real usage
• Built or worked on systems used by operational or non-technical users

Is this a full-time role or freelance?

We’re starting with a paid freelance project — low-friction, focused, and results-driven. If it goes well, there’s a clear path to longer-term collaboration, including full-time roles and for anyone who proves to be foundational, equity.
